After Ashes turned out to be the most ambitious film I've ever set out to make. It was a difficult tightrope walk of tones, implementing Fantasy and Horror elements into a comedic drama-- similar in tone and style to Guillermo Del Toro, but confined to the limits of a short film. It was a fun challenge, and allowed me to refine my style.

The film has been the best example of what I set out to do: Tell stories that I've never seen before in novel and strange ways.

Paul Levasseur is a Composer and Multi-Instrumentalist based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Paul Has previously worked on a number of short animated projects such as “scraped Metal” and “Night Light”. This is one of Paul’s first live action compositions. Paul’s score for After Ashes is based on String Quartets to add a dramatic unity to the film's thematic emotions.

Inda Blatch-Geib’s work as a costume and production designer for over 900 theatrical, commercial, and film releases has spanned 30 years and crossed 4 continents..    Current commercial work includes Costume Design for The Cleveland Cavaliers’ 1970’s and 80’s themed videos and 5 national spots for the team.  Print designs have included set styling for Harper’s Bazaar UK Scarlett Johansson cover and spread as well as catalogue set styling for Foundations and Kilgore Trout.  Ms. Blatch-Geib’s designs have been showcased in exhibits at The Smithsonian Institute as well as national and regional commercials including Microsoft, McDonald’s, Under Armour, TroyBuilt, The Original Mattress Factory, and Momentive.  Recent film projects include Ohio Art Direction for The Signal starring Laurence Fishburne.
